Caught backstage at Station Street Festival 2025 — the self-declared "479th day of the festival" — Italian psychedelic rock band New Candys sit down for one of the last interviews of the year.

The conversation opens with what it feels like to step on the Station Street stage again, having played the festival's first edition. The answer is immediate: the lights. For New Candys, stage lighting is everything, and this festival ranks among the best they've ever played in that regard.

From there, the talk turns to Plovdiv's audience — warm, dancing, and full of energy even when they don't know the band — before diving into the new album.
