We are delighted to invite you to the architectural and historical tours organized by Free Plovdiv Tour and the Bulgarian Modernist Architecture Foundation during the "Station Street" Festival.

Ivan Vazov Street

International culture, global business, and local history intersect most vividly on the street leading to the station – today's Ivan Vazov Street, formerly known as "Station Street."

Discover the locations of the many consulates that once graced Plovdiv, including Hungarian, Belgian, and Dutch consulates. Find out where the Italian and German schools were situated. Ivan Vazov Street still houses some of the majestic tobacco warehouses and administrative buildings that traded with the world, as well as the homes of their owners and other prominent Plovdiv citizens.

Join us to uncover the stories of these remarkable buildings, their inhabitants, architectural styles, and their fates over the years in the architectural and historical tour "On Ivan Vazov Street" during the Station Street Festival at the beginning of September.

District 324

A small district brimming with immense beauty. Situated between the streets "Krakra," "G.M. Dimitrov," and "Krastyu Pastukhov," District 324 from the old cadastral plan by Joseph Schnitter is home to a handful of houses, each more beautiful than the last.

Here you will find stunning Neo-Baroque, Art Deco, and Modernist buildings designed by Plovdiv’s most renowned architects. Some of the original owners of these houses were among Plovdiv’s most prominent figures a century ago.
