Founded in Plovdiv in 2012, TDK is a phenomenon in Bulgaria’s alternative scene. Their sound blends alternative rock, stoner, and new wave, often interwoven with Bulgarian folk motifs. Influenced by bands like Sleep, Kyuss, Colour Haze, Porcupine Tree, and Tool, TDK’s music evolves with every album — from ethno-infused alt rock, through dark wave and post-metal, to noise rock and even touches of estrada. Their debut album (2017) and follow-up Uspeh (2019) established their reputation for raw energy and uncompromising live focus. In 2023, they released Nemesta, a genre-defying record mixing industrial, metal, electronica, and rock into a unique sonic palette. Known for powerful, immersive live shows, TDK’s performances are as much an emotional journey as they are a musical one.
