Scarlet is a rising indie/post‑punk force from Burgas, Bulgaria, formed in 2023. The band—comprising Anton, Stelyan, Mihal, Marin, and Dimitar—burst onto the scene with their debut single "Слънчоглед" (Sunflower), a melancholic yet energizing anthem that won second place in the Youth Songwriting Contest organized by Musicautor and secured their stage debut at the National Palace of Students through Samodiva’s production support.
Their sound blends post‑punk, alternative, and new wave, drawing influence from Fontaines D.C., Radiohead, and Bulgaria’s own "Nova Generation" .
Known for authenticity and emotional depth, Scarlet's first live showcase was in June 2025 at Kino Bar Cabana, setting the tone for more performances. Their aesthetic is emotional, raw, and grounded in place—their music is at once therapeutic and arresting, embodying the voice of a generation ready to be heard.
