Nikolay Todorov - Nik

Nikolay Todorov - Nik ис one of the most dynamic and influential figures in the contemporary Bulgarian cultural scene. He completed his education at the Economic Technical School "G.S. Rakovski" and the University of Economics in Varna, specializing in Marketing and Management. He combines his academic knowledge with a creative and entrepreneurial spirit to create numerous successful projects in the field of alternative lifestyle and culture.

In 1994, Nikolay founded the retail chain "Na Tumno," which quickly established itself as a symbol of alternative urban lifestyle in Bulgaria. In 1999, he won second place in the BAKB competition for "Best Young Entrepreneur," affirming his talent and ambition to change and enrich the country's cultural landscape.

As the owner and manager of the "Botsmana" restaurant in Varna from 2002 to 2006, Nikolay applied his entrepreneurial flair to the festival arena. Since 2009, he has been the organizer and co-organizer of numerous prestigious festivals such as Spirit of Burgas, Hills of Rock, ARTE Festival, SPICE Music Festival, Cinema & Food, Fish Festival, and Street Food Festival – Bulgaria. In 2021, he launched the VARNA STREET FOOD PARK – a unique space for street food and culture.

Nikolay Todorov is also the organizer of the European Street Food Awards (ESFA) in Bulgaria in 2019 and 2022, where he promotes culinary art and street food. Additionally, he is a finalist and representative of Bulgaria at the World Paella Cup on World Paella Day 2024 in Valencia, Spain, showcasing his passion for culinary arts and his continuous pursuit of excellence.
