Festival Medal | Station Street

Bulmint minted a medal for the first edition of the Station Street Festival.

Especially for the first edition of the "Station Street" Festival, the Bulgarian private minting company Bulmint created a medal with the same name, made of copper with a solid gold coating, in a limited edition of 500 pieces. The medal can be purchased now with cash on delivery or card payment, with delivery to an address or office via Econt or Speedy.

In addition to being an unforgettable memento of the event and a collectible item, all proceeds from the sale of the medal are a financial support for the "For Our Children" Foundation and its Center for Public Support "For Children and Parents" in Plovdiv.

The medal is made of 20 grams of copper with a coating of pure gold with a fineness of 999.9, a diameter of 34 mm, and a high-quality minting. On the mirror-smooth surface of the obverse, a matte relief image of the festival's logo stands out – a classic steam locomotive, emblematic of the period when the first modern street in Plovdiv, "Station Street," was built.

On the reverse side, an illustration of the street itself is depicted, based on an archival image from the early 20th century. Behind the row of plane trees – still young and fragile in that period – the imposing building of the Military Club is revealed. The inscriptions "Station Street" and "Plovdiv" turn the item into an original festival souvenir, presented in thematic packaging, which simultaneously serves as a certificate of origin and quality.

The idea for the charitable cause comes from the organizers of the festival - Simeon Iliev, Ivan Nedeliev, Asen Hristev, and the management team of "Bulmint" - Engineer Plamen Zapryanov and Vladimir Spasov. The choice of the Center for Public Support "For Children and Parents" in Plovdiv under the "For Our Children" Foundation is not accidental. The focus of the center's work is on early childhood development, covering children from Plovdiv and neighboring regions, aged 0 to 7, who are at risk of abandonment or developmental issues. Operating in the territory of Plovdiv, the two sides engaged in the cause decide to direct their efforts to assist the most vulnerable groups in the community.

Since its establishment in 2009, the center has supported over 2000 children who are now growing up in a safe and nurturing family environment. It continues to provide access to professional, integrated, and comprehensive support to enable children in need to develop their full potential. The center is part of a complex that helps families in difficult situations improve their parenting skills and gain the confidence to provide the best care for their children. The foundation and its centers work directly with municipal administrations, which provide information about children at risk. Unfortunately, the main part of the foundation's activities and its branches depends on donations from legal and natural persons. The proceeds from the sales of the festival medal "Station Street" will cover a significant portion of the expenses of the Center for Public Support "For Children and Parents" in Plovdiv.
