Indie Game Showcase Recap

The first edition of Station Street Festival marked the beginning of a new dawn for gaming in Plovdiv, proving that the European Capital of Culture accepts art in all of its forms. With the first ever Indie Game Showcase dedicated to Bulgarian Game Developers presenting years of hard work to the audience. We saw the reveal trailers for 2 new games - TankTroubles 3D & Moo Ball by The Sixth Hammer's.

We watched the newest at the time gameplay trailer of the slavic-inspired Metroidvania Marko: Beyond Brave by Studio Mechka. We don't have to wait much longer, because the epic action-adventure Metroidvania releases on 17.09.2024!

The small team of passionate gamers from Realm Archive and the creators of the Bulgarian Indie Hit Death Must Die were also on the stage, right before their game blew up the sales charts after catching the attention of none other than the king of streaming himself - Asmongold!

The solo-developer of the gamebook adaptation Fabled Lands revealed the motivation behind the challenging old-school narrative RPG set in an open world. This excellent and highly esteemed game lets the players complete quests, fight, trade goods and develop your character. This year marked the release of the 2nd DLC expansion to the game - The Serpent's King Domain!

Last but not least on our list of game reveals was the visual novel with excellent music and art - the murder mystery Bottoms Up! Part 1 by the author of the book himself Miroslav Kostov.
